Bubelle

With Bubelle there is no way to hide your emotions. It measures stress levels which become visible throught the projection of light movements on the outer layer. It is one of the probe projects I worked on at Philips, generated to question if people would share emotional arousement throught their clothing.

Bubelle is a discussion piece, a working model to generate debate whether people would like their clothing to show their feelings. It challenges the notion that our lives are expected to improve as a result of the invasion of digital technology. Bubelle features 'analogue' phenomena, such as emotional sensing and technologies, which are 'sensitive' rather than 'intelligent'.
